Christmas brunch
Happy holidays everyone! Being away from home during the holidays is never easy. I had to shed tears– but thankfully this morning, we had brunch with friends from different countries– we had Dutch, Swiss, Chinese, an American, and us Filipinos.
Our friend Susanna from Switzerland prepared the food, and it was sooo good!
Homemade star-shaped wheat bread…
Finger foods: little tomatoes with cheese
Totally healthy… and yummy, too!
Being in Thailand for more than a year now, we have gotten used to eating hot and spicy food, but occasionally we would crave for something different. Today’s brunch definitely made our morning very special. After eating, we sang some Christmas carols together, read some Scriptures and went into smaller groups for prayer and sharing.
Multi-cultural… that’s our team. Many times it could be a challenge. Our differences could divide us, but for sure, 3 things do unite us: Food, Fellowship, and yes… Faith. Today was a wonderful expression of fellowship and faith. And the food? Superb!

It’s hard being away from our family specially in this season. But if we are surrounded with people who loves us it would be fine. Love the multi-cultural food you’ve got there. Looks all yummy!

What a wonderfully multi-cultural holiday, I love those star-shaped breads. We too spend holidays with friends turned family, they are some of my most treasured memories.
