Tips in choosing a hotel

If you are a traveler, one of the first things you have to look for before you set on a journey is a good hotel– or if you are staying at a particular city for a long period of time, someplace you could rent monthly.

Looking into your budget is important.  It is a given that hotels would have higher rates compared to little inns that don’t even have a website.

Look into prices, amenities, and read reviews.  Cheap could not necessarily mean they are uncomfortable.  Mind you, there are actually hotels that may very well suit your budget, and they can be as comfortable as the ones with big names!

It would also be very important that you consider the hotel’s safety.  Really, some hotels were found out not to have proper fire exits! It would also be important that hotels will have cable raceways, not only to hide the dangling wires but for safety reasons  as well.

King’s Park @ Dusk

The King’s Park (Suan Luwang) is known to be the largest park in Bangkok. This park was made for His Majesty the King on his 60th birthday in December, 2007.

This is one of my favorite places in Bangkok, and if we have guests, we see to it that we visit this historical site.  Inside that structure are the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s paintings, sports equipment, musical instruments and even  his personal  inventions.

Looking for hotel best deals

When traveling, the first thing that you have to consider is of course, the budget. Given that you have the amount intended for the getaway, the search for the perfect place to have a vacation at would come next. That would include the hotel search, airfare rates… which means browsing through site after site.

Personally I don’t mind doing that if it means that I could finally have a vacation to look forward to.  One of the things I like to do when surfing for hotels would be to look at comments and reviews of travelers that have availed of their services.

It is actually surprising that even the most famous hotels could have bad costumer reviews. I guess this is what Concierge Jobs is all about– taking good care of hotel costumers so that they would feel so good at the end of their well-deserved vacation.

Mind you, people who want to take a break most likely have gone through a lot in their workplaces, or might have been so stressed out so the last thing they would need would be poor costumer services.

Which reminds me, I should start surfing for the best beach holiday destinations either in Rayong, Pattaya or Hua Hin. That’s because we are going on a vacay on the second week of December! I am excited– no, very excited. Can you tell? Haha! :)

Can you believe I am hitting the beach again soon? (credits to www.hotelthailand.com for the image)
