Bangkok Symphony Orchestra in Concert
It was a privilege to watch Bangkok Symphony Orchestra in concert FOR FREE last Sunday.
Everyone knows that watching this group play anywhere would cost a lot, so the free treat was just worth-going to.
It was held in Lumpini Park. People sat on mats while enjoying the heavenly music. We were there hours early so we got the best seats! Yay!
Ria got inspired to excel more in her violin class. Initially we wanted her to stop, but after watching the concert, we all changed our minds.
I am not sure what other instruments they used there. Since we were seated in front, we could only see the violinists and the bassists. I am not sure if they used electric guitars or one of those squier vintage modified jaguar bass for their more modern pieces.
Sometimes I wish I studied a musical instrument when I was younger. Sigh. I guess it’s too late in life if I’d start learning now.. but at least we have Ria, our little violin girl.

Ria and her violin-- and what mom would not be proud?
