We were on board that Cebu Pacific flight from Manila bound for Cagayan de Oro when I noticed this beautifully shaped, almost perfect cone– is it Mayon Volcano? I have never been to Albay before, and I really don’t have the slightest idea whether or not we would pass by the place en route to Cagayan de Oro.
Mt. Mayon or not, I just took a photo of it, anyway. Yesterday, I had the chance to upload this photo on my facebook wall and ask anyone who might have the slightest idea on whether or not I have seen Mt. Mayon. The photo got 22 likes and lots of comments: Yes, it’s Mt. Mayon!
I am so glad I took time to take this photo and though it’s a bit far, I am still happy I’ve seen one of our country’s beautiful spots. I would love to take a closer look at this beauty someday, and marvel at its majesty!
Mayon Volcano, also known as Mount Mayon, is an active volcano in theprovince of Albay, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Renowned as the “perfect cone” because of its almost symmetric conical shape, Mayon forms the northern boundary of Legazpi City, the largest city in terms of population in theBicol Region. Wow, Ray! Nice shot
I never had the idea that maybe the plane I could be flying in could give a view of Mayon Volcano
That was so cool for you to see and take a photo of this natural beauty
Thanks for the visit.
Visiting you back sis from http://www.inin78.com/2012-06/taoist-temple-beverly-hills-subdivision-cebu-city.html. I have never seen Mt. Mayon in person. It would be awesome one day if I can get up close and personal. Thank for visiting
It’s near perfect in its cone-shape Ray so it must be Mt. Mayon! What a gorgeous shot! Nice kaayo! Maayo kay namintana ka while on top!
